The no needle filler technique is essentially a jet injector. This means that the product is delivered into the skin with a high-pressure force through a tiny hole in an ampule, containing the hyaluronic acid filler. This is very similar to an insulin jet injector, for example. How does no needle fillers work? The Hyaluron Pen operates by creating enough pressure externally against the tissue to “push” the hyaluronic acid filler into the dermal layer of your skin without the use of needles. Most commonly in cosmetic cases, it is being used for lip plumping. Do no needle fillers hurt? The No Needle treatment causes little to no pain, most people experience a pressure sensation rather than discomfort. All treatments are non invasive without the use of needles, so they do not require any numbing or any dermal filler containing lidocaine. How long does Hyaluron filler last? Hyaluronic acid fillers tend to be the most temporary option, and therefore are often recommended for first-time filler patients. These will typically last from 6 to 18 months.
